FAQs

Why pig suede

Pig suede has a naturally tighter, more uniform fiber structure than cow suede. Pig suede is typically thinner but tougher than cow suede. In lab tests (like Martindale or Taber abrasion), pig suede often withstands 2–3x more abrasion cycles before failure compared to cow suede or split leather. Its tighter grain and natural oils help dissipate heat from friction — crucial when grip tape burns through material.

can i remove them without ruining my shoes

Yep. Heat them up with a hair dryer, peel slowly, and any leftover adhesive comes off with some elbow grease.

can i cut patches to size

Absolutely. Scissors work fine — just shape them to fit your ollie spot or toe area.

How do i apply the patches

Clean your shoe, make sure it’s dry, and stick it on (or sew it if you want a permanent fix). Each patch uses high-strength adhesive that bonds to canvas, suede, or leather uppers.

can i skate right after applying them

Yes, but the longer you wait, the better the adhesion will be. Preferably up to 24 hours before skating, but it should be sticking on well after 30 minutes.

Can I use them for non-skate shoes or repairs

Totally. They work great for any shoe that gets toe wear — BMX, work boots, casual sneakers, even DIY projects.
